Active Status

Active Status

Active is any provider that is currently providing patient care at their current level.  Providers that are currently working or volunteering with an agency can affiliate electronically to maintain Active status. If an agency or employer is not listed with the National Registry, providers can still renew as Active they may just need to take additional steps.


Providers renewing as Active must-have skills competency verified by a training officer or physician medical director.  
  1. For EMR and EMT providers, skills competency is completed by a training officer.
  2. For AEMT and Paramedic providers, skills competency is completed by a  physician medical director.
