Late Recertification

Late Recertification

For EMR providers if all education was completed by September 30 of the year your certification expires, you can submit late recertification application. You have until October 31 to submit a late application with the $50 reinstatement fee and appropriate recert fee. 


For EMT, AEMT and Paramedic providers if all education was completed by the March 31 of the year your certification expires, you can submit a late recertification application. You have until April 30, to submit the late application with the $50 reinstatement fee and appropriate recertification fee. 

If your education was not completed by your expiration date, you cannot submit a late application and your certification will expire. You can review more information on lapsed certification on our website, www.nremt.org
