Recertification: How to Renew Inactive

How to renew your certification as Inactive. The easiest way is not to be affiliated with an agency and submit an application through your National Registry account.  If you renew your certification without an agency you will automatically be placed in Inactive status.  


If you are affiliated with an agency and need to renew Inactive the easiest way is to remove your agency affiliation and then submit your recertification application.  If you request to renew Inactive after submitting your application, your status will remain Inactive even if a Training Officer or Medial Director verify skills on the application at a later date.
