Recertification Simplification Audit

Recertification Simplification Audit

If you are audited, notification of the audit will be in their Message Center and will be sent to the email on your National Registry profile. You should follow the instructions provided in the audit letter to submit documentation. Any questions about the documentation submitted for an audit will be emailed to you, to the email on your account. Please make sure to monitor your account and email.

For recertification, the National Continued Competency Program (NCCP) model requirements have not changed. Changes were made to how you assign the education on the Manage Education page. You must still meet all education requirements to successfully complete your renewal.

The National Registry’s focus is on the quality of the overall content instead of the time assignments of the unique subtopics. Your requirements are met as long as all of the subtopics of each main category are represented and the hourly requirements of the major categories are achieved. For verification, a staff member will look at the title, the description, and all attached documents for indications a subtopic was covered.
