Teaching EMS Education

You can use teaching EMS education can be used towards meeting your recertification requirements. 

Any patient care and EMS-related education that is at or above your current certification level can be used towards the National, Local and Individual sections. Any patient care and EMS-related education that is below your current certification level can be used towards the Local and individual sections. Remember that duplicate courses are not allowed. 

Documentation of teaching hours should be kept in case you are selected for an audit.
