What other continuing education can I use for my recertification?

It is great that you are showing interest in furthering your recertification. There are several other continuing education options that providers can use towards recertification hours that include but are not limited to the following: attending EMS conferences, college courses, higher level EMS courses, nursing, medical school, or other healthcare-related professionals continuing education.     

 

Below you will find that all education must fit the following criteria:   

1.     Applicable to EMS   

2.     Patient Care Related   

3.     Completed within your Recertification Cycle   

4.     Applicable to your scope of practice as a provider in the field  

 

Please note the Distributive Education (DE) limits still apply to these forms of other education.
